Fractions

We have been learning about fractions and focusing on halves and quarters.  Yesterday we cut up some fruit to show these fractions.

Firewise

Today the firemen from Kingswell Fire Station come to visit us. They showed us the safety clothing they have to wear when they are in a fire. We also got to have a look inside the truck and they explained what the things in their trucks are and why they are there. We will be looking at this more over the next few weeks.

Duffy Theatre

Today Duffy Theatre came to school to perform us. We loved watching them as they talked about how important reading was.
